Possible problem: Floaters are frequently benign and come and go but can represent an eye problem such as a problem with the retina which is necessary for good vision. With your age and history you give, your floaters are probably benign. Being as you have not seen an eye doctor you should make a point of seeing one and having your eyes properly checked. It is not wise in medicine to make assumptions about anything
