Possible infection: Considering your age and the symptoms you give it sounds like you may have an infection in your lung passages and you may have a condition where the airways narrow. From what you have said, you cannot completely say there is not some heart condition. In your setting this is less likely. You should see your doctor to be fully checked and your pus treated.

Infection?: Racing of the heart is common with an infection. Do you have a panful tooth, fever or chills? See you doctor and a dentist if necessary.
