On her mouth's lips?: If asking, "If this other person, with mouth open and cold sores on her lips, is headed towards my penis, should I worry?", then the answer would be... YES! Call time-out. Then, call the doctors. Ask for "Herpes 1 and 2" antibody tests, to find out what protection each person has. For example, if both people only have Herpes 1 antibodies, then both probably won't spread Herpes 1 to NEW locations.
