See his pediatrician: You should be seen by your pediatrician to verify the diagnosis of pink eye and receive proper treatment based on cause (bacterial, chemical, viral). Most commonly, this is transmitted by exposure to the virus or bacteria (touching) and then rubbing the eye. It is common and usually quite easily treated! Make that appointment.
