What should i do for an 8 year old son who has reoccurring allergic pink eye? he was treated it went away and now it is back.

Conjunctivitis: Need to find out what is causing the allergies. Avoidance of the specific allergen if known helps. May try allergy eye drop (antihistamine, mast cell stabilizers). Discuss with his pediatrician

Avoid allergen: Avoid the allergen or treat it preventatively with an antihistamine by mouth or antihistamine eye drops. It is important to explain to his teacher, that is is non contagious or he will unnecessarily be missing school.
