It depend: it really depend what kind of cyst you have knowing it is a septated and for any reason if you have been in a foreign third world country the possibility that could be a parasite cyst it will be a catastrophic if the cyst ruptured inside you the total splenectomy could be the safest route if on the other hand that not the case unroofing the cyst could be a possibility leave it to your surgeon
