Irregular Menses: It is common for young women to miss periods, or have them come late, especially with excessive stress, weight loss, or exercise. If you did not ovulate (release an egg in the middle of your menstrual cycle) your period can be very light or not come at all. It may be heavier the following month.

Stress/preg symptoms: Good morning! Extreme stress may cause missed periods, e.g. physical (i.e. frequent/intense exercising) and most commonly nutritional stress (i.e. abnormally low weight/BMI, like with anorexia). Emotional stress on its own uncommonly leads to missed periods. Stress may cause pregnancy-like symptoms. Especially if missed periods are new, an evaluation by your doc is wise. Good luck!
