Ear pain: pregnancy?: When pregnant, mucus surfaces in your auditory canals become swollen, and this mimics ear infection type symptoms. Sinus obstructions are also more common in pregnancy. See your healthcare provider and he/she can advise medication to relieve these symptoms. This is similar to blocked ear canals when swimming, and is not necessarily an infection.
