A member asked:

I had an mri on my brain, now they want a cpa scan done. does this mean they found something?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

?CTA: Suspect advice to have CT angiogram, to evaluate large vessels in neck and base of brain. You could ask whether your MRI showed some suspicious area, but often the vascular test is added due to an unexpected NORMAL MRI, just to be complete and safe.
