After receiving pentavalent and pneumococcal vaccine in the leg 1 week ago a hard mass formed under the skin in place of shut of 1 of two vaccines.

Ice/observe: You must be writing about your baby receiving the pentavalent vaccine immunizing against 5 childhood diseases & pneumonia vaccine. Either might cause an inflammatory reaction under the skin. May ice and/or give acetaminophen for comfort. Observe for fever, diarrhea, vomiting, and see doctor promptly for any of these known side effects. Good wishes!
