HCG levels: At 8 weeks of pregnancy, "24,000" is a normal level. At this point, the increase is not as rapid as it is between the first and seventh week of pregnancy, so "31,000" may be entirely normal at 9 weeks. HCG levels are a way to follow pregnancy progression, but at nine weeks with "normal growth", checking HCG levels is not generally useful.
