NOT clear: Your weight is certainly low for your age and height. You need to see someone such as endocrinologist to see why this is occurring.The endo doc will be able to help you figure out why this is occuring.

Hard to tell: There are many causes of failure to gain weight. Some are due to diseases like high thyroid levels or malabsorbtion while others may just mean that you are genetically programmed to be slender. Best to consult your primary care and be evaluated. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
