BP monitoring: It is best to use an arm cuff blood pressure automated monitor for the best accuracy, but the wrist monitor may give an estimate. Compare its reading with an accurate pharmacy blood pressure machine or manual cuff pressure measured by a health care worker. Calibration for under or overestimation this way may help.

Hypertension: The wrist monitors can sometimes fluctuate quite a bit. If possible, check it against your doctor's meter for accuracy and consistency. If you develop symptoms associated with blood pressure that is too high or too low see your doctor for medication adjustment.
