Ocular Migraine: is very common. Pain behind or near the eye on one side of the head or the other is another mark of a migraine. Once a diagnosis of migraine, effective management of migraine involves three specific strategies: 1) patient education, 2) non-pharmacological management (e.g. acupuncture), and 3) pharmacological (medical) management.
