Hard to say: Without seeing the xray, but usually hilar calcifications signify a prior infection/inflammatory response and of are of little significance. Speak with your doc about the relevance of this finding in your case.

Old infection: Usually calcifications are in nodes in central part of chest and represent evidence of previous granulomatous infection such as TB, brucellosis, or coccidiodomycosis. Infection often depends on part of country in which you live.
