No: is promoted with the slogan "Kills germs that cause bad breath". Listerine is the FDA approved mouthwash, with or without alcohol and is safe to use 3 X a day.

Not really: Anything in excess can be bad for you, even water. But listerine is good for your oral hygiene. Theoretically, there are however normal good bacteria in your mouth and if that gets suppressed constantly by something like listerine, other bad bacteria may get the opportunity to flourish instead. But I think what you're doing is fine I wouldn't worry about it!
