I was recently in hospital due to a ruptured ovarian cyst and my period has arrived but it is extremely light, should i be worried?

Don't worry: If there is any chance of pregnancy take a test to make sure, but otherwise do not worry. Any time there are issues with the ovaries you menstrual periods can change a bit. They should go back to normal over the next few months. If they do not see your doctor.

Prob normal: With the interruption of the "normal" ovarian cycle by the ruptured ovar cyst, it is not unusual for the next cycle and menses to be different. It can be normal, heavier, or less than usual. Just observe for now ,but if other changes, let you DR know.
