Radiating groin pain: Could be : Sciatica due to herniated disc which would not show on xray, need MRI. Sometimes worsens with sleep position, hernia which would show on exam or CT abdomen/pelvis or clot in upper thigh/pelvis. A d-dimer detects the potential to clot ( if low no clot), if high would need u/s/doppler. Also consider ovarian/kidney issues which would show on sono. Rarely may be colon.See doc/urgent care
