Depends: Well..it depends somewhat on what caused the kidney infection. If you had a kidney stone and an infection above that..then yes you could get another one causing infection. If the kidney was damaged by the infection (pyelonephritis we call it)..then it could be prone to re-infection. Truthfully, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
