I am now on day 3 of a wheezy cough. it's become harder to breathe today, fever ranges from 99.9-101.3 on & off, also sweating on & off. cough is very painful, my breathing is shortened. cannot see my family doctor until monday. i've been lathered in vick

Need to go to urgent: care now if you are still having this level of difficulty tonight especially if it involves shortness of breath, fever & painful coughs. If it sounds like a barking cough, even more so. Don't wait until Monday if u need immediate help.You don't list any meds you are taking other than Vicks Vaporub & that won't help a upper respiratory infection, asthma, bronchitis, or pneumonia, or whooping cough.
