Many things: Don't mean to sound trite but could be many things and not enough info for a great answer. But, could be gastritis, ulcer, or just irritation of GI tract. Try some pepto or mylanta. If it does not get better in reasonable time, gets much worse, or you develop nausea/vomiting and/or fevers - see your provider for good history and physical exam and possible tests. Stomach problem: Catfish when fried and ingested can cause severe problems in activating a prepyloric ulcer in the lower stomach. Perforation is into the lesser sac behind the stomach. That area sits right over the pancreas and can initiate pain. Pressure here will initiate the symptoms further. If releasing pressure on the abdominal wall causes more pain, rebound is a sign of local peritonitis.
