What could cause you to drop high levels of potassium and magnesium into you urine?

Diuretics: Certain types of diuretics can cause potassium loss as well as certain diseases. You will have to ask your doctor about magnesium loss in the urine as it very uncommon. More common is a nutritional problem such as alcoholism in which magnesium is not present in the diet.
