Possible infection: It is possible that the scrape(abrasion) in the skin allowed some bacteria into the surrounding soft tissue and has lead to a localized infection. It's a bit hard to say without seeing your finger but you are better of being safe then sorry and seeking and evaluation, and more urgently if you have progressive pain, inability to flex at that joint, spreading redness and/or fevers.
