It depends: If it only from one side you have broken a tiny vein. The result is that once you stop the bleeding by compressing your nostrils there is nothing further to do. If you desire a good ER can make that vein go away but its not needed unless the blood won't stop. If the blood is coming from both sides you need to go to the ER.
