Tick fevor: Symptoms of colorado tick fever start 3 to 6 days after getting the tick bite. A sudden fever continues for 3 days, goes away, then comes back 1 to 3 days later for another few days. Other symptoms include:generalized weakness, headache behind the eyes, muscle aches, nausea and vomiting, rash (may be light-colored), sensitivity to light ( photophobia), skin pain, sweating.

See below: If you mean "relapsing fever" related to ticks which carry the borrelia genus of spirochete bacteria, then symptoms include: sudden onset of fever, with afebrile period which then occurs at least twice. Temps can be as high as 109.4 but usually above 102.2. The periods of fever are multiple and last from 1-3 days and the range between fevers is from 4-14 days. There are many other symptoms also.

See below: Fever, headache, upset stomach, fatigue. These are all very non-specific. Always have a low threshold for treatment - the antibiotic is easy to tolerate and early treatment is critical. Oklahoma leads the nation by far in rates of RMSF (18 times the national average).
