Tick: Did they say Lyme was negative. It can be treated with no permanent damage in many cases.

Treated?: Boutonneuse fever, Mediterranean spotted fever, Israeli tick typhus, Astrakhan spotted fever, Kenya tick typhus, Indian tick typhus, or other names that designate the locality of occurrence of Rickettsia conorai infection. It is treated with antibiotics, and usually there are no permanent symptoms, unless there was a significant delay in diagnosis and treatment.
