Ticks: There are many types of ticks and not all cause Lyme. If you manage to keep one, please take it to a local lab for testing. A university or clinic may have that ability. The tick that gives us Lyme is tiny, like a dot of pepper. Have your doc remove any ticks you find because you want it all out. Fever means your body is fighting an infection. Please see doctor.

Likely unrelated: To transfer Lime a tick needs to be attached & feeding on you for a day or more. One that is crawling around is looking for a place to feed. If you removed other ticks, and don't know how long they were there it would be more worrisome. If you have fever, have it evaluated as you would any fever illness.
