when i wake up, my hands are swollen, in extreme pain, and i can't bend my fingers. i shuffle my legs. pain, stiffness and hard to bend knees.

Hand pain: I do not know how old you are. However pain in hands would make me consider Carpal tunnel. Thyroid problem another thought or some type of problem causing increased fluid retention. See your provider.
