Time for an in depth: Evaluation to include thyroid tests, immunoglobulin levels, testing for food allergy and celiac disease, and a visit to ENT to evaluate persistent middle ear infection. If your little guy isn't gaining weight, or is losing ground on the growth curve these are signs of an underlying medical problem. Be proactive, and don't take no for an answer. Schedule a visit with his pediatrician to discuss.
