See below.: In the U.S., we usually express measurements in milligrams/deciliter and, since you're writing from Florida, I assume those are the units used.. If your blood glucose level were 4.4 mg/dl, you'd no longer be among the living, so I think you're referring to your HgA1C, the test we use to determine long term glucose control. The normal range is 3.5-6.0%. A measurement of 4.4% is NOT too low.
