Bariatric surgery: You would need to check with your insurance company. Many times depending on your other medical issues it may be deemed medically necessary. Good luck

I suggest that all patients considering bariatric surgery research the Mediterranean Diet and watch the documentary Forks Over Knives, which streams free on Netflix. It gives a clear demonstration of how dietary changes can reverse many of most common dietarily-induced chronic diseases.

I agree. Diet, behavior modification and a structured exercise program are the best. But if that is not happening, the risks of existing disease may outweigh surgical risks
