A member asked:

My husband has been having cough ( dry, deep, barking ) without any throat issue/runny nose etc. and it flares up when he eats junk/oily food/chillies?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Reflux?: Reflux can cause a chronic cough. There are over the counter medicines for reflux. But probably more effective is weight loss, avoiding triggering foods (or at least avoid combing these foods), like chocolate, spicy foods, and alcohol, and not eating too close to bedtime.
