I have a bonded wire retainer which is fixd behind my front teeth. can the metal leach toxic metal?also what about the glue that keeps the wire,toxic?

Toxic materials?: As we do not know exactly what materials your dentist is using nor where he\she got them from, we cannot know. Here, in the USA, quality dentists will use quality materials and not generics from overseas and those materials are considered safe.

Why would it?: What would make you think that your dentist (or orthodontist) would be using hazardous materials in your mouth? From your other post you stated that you've had it for seven years, and now it's been removed. If you have certain medical problems, have your physician evaluate you and forget about dental materials...there is no correlation.

Don't worry: All orthodontic materials used are CE and FDA approved Dental Clinic Products. Ask your orthodontist for more information. Nothing to be concerned.
