Requires testing...: I can't see in the information provided how old you are.If you are younger than 41 y/o and no period for a year it is possible that this is ovarian failure but not necessarily.There are other hormonal issues that can cause this problem especially if you are young.If you are in your 40's then this is most likely menopause but you need to see your GYN to discuss other symptoms and final diagnosis.
