Yes but Epi needed: If the reaction is an anaphylactic one, she needs to carry a 2-pack epinephrine kit with her since no oral medication can save her from a severe attack. Antihistamine may help an itchy mouth but not potent or fast enough to do much for severe allergic reactions. Vigilance is still the best approach.
