No, but why take it?: You won't die if you take 5 or 6 Loratadine tablets (50-60 mg) but this antihistamine that doesn't cause sedation at the usual dose of 10 mg may make you drowsy at this higher dose. Such a high dose of Loratadine may be helpful for difficult to control hives but offers little advantage over the usual dose for treating allergic rhinitis or allergic conjunctivitis.
