Most likely...: from the shot is my best guess. The hcg has a half life of around 28 hours, so every 28 hours your hcg level should go down by half in that time period from the synthetic hcg that was injected.Since you had the 5000 U injection you will not likely get an "accurate" pregnancy hcg test until about 10 days after the shot which would be on or after Oct 18th to really know how your pregnancy is going.
