It's fine to ask: As a patient you have a right to know what level of experience your physician has. So ask away. Cervical radio frequency ablations are not a really common procedure, even for someone who specializes in pain management. 5 is not a big number but if I felt comfortable with my doctor otherwise I wouldn't let that bother me.
