A member asked:

Why do doctors not tell patients if they suspect a diagnosis? had "cervical spondylosis" in my pituitary surgery records yrs before a doctor diagnosed

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not sure: Cervical spondylosis is something we see on films. It may or may not have any clinical symptoms associated with it. Most men and women will have some degree of spondylosis at age 60. If the spondylosis is very severe or causing symptoms it should be addressed, but if it is mild and without symtpoms it may just represent your age and not a "diagnosis" per se.
