Hi, Oscar: Skipped beats in someone with a healthy heart (you) are not at all dangerous, but the symptom can still be annoying. In such cases, I often use propranolol (40-80 mg a day, starting at the lowest dose). It has the added benefit of lowering your blood pressure so maybe your Dr will substitute it for amlodipine?
