Pills in stools!: Finding different pills has been a known fact especially the long acting ones. See your doctor to change metformin to regular- need to take twice daily.If your symptoms continue metformin has to be discontinued. There was a hilarious article in an integrated medicine journal about the huge amount of pills which was recovered from a mountain of stools! eware of SR,XR & all long acting medications!
