what causes white dot fluffy mucus and lots of bright red blood in a dark runny stool with a very foul odor?

Dr. Martin Raff
55 years experience Infectious Disease
Bloody stools: You need to go and see a GI doctor asap. Bleeding from the colon can be due to cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, a variety of infectious agents and none of these should be left untreated. Go and see someone before you become severely ill.
