Osteopathic Exam/Tx: In pregnancy, back pain is frequently musculoskeletal due to growing fetus, stretching ligaments, & uterus displacing ribs.I see this commonly in my practice. Can't take meds, so a good osteopathic hands-on exam & gentle manipulation may relieve the pain without endangering baby. It's gotten my daughter through 1 pregnancy & now through a second. :)
