Most of the time no: If you are healed , no. Even if you are not fully without symptoms it is usually ok. If after a fusion type surgery and you still have some real pain, it may be due to a failure of the fusion to be fully healed and you may have increased back pain with your pregnancy. Also, if you remain with symptoms that require medication to control, you may not be able to continue on certain types of meds.
