A few things...: See your doctor: -Might need to meet with a nutritionist to learn where gluten is found (or hidden) in food. -Bone density testing is recommended. -Nutrient levels like iron, B12 and Vitamin D may be checked. -Certain vaccines are indicated compared to normal population (specifically pneumococcal). -A GI doctor should discuss need for endoscopy as well.

Read labels: This requires that you go on a gluten free diet. Gluten is found primarily in wheat, barley and rye, so any product with these is out. There are a number of sources on the web, including the Mayo clinic, that provide guidance.Just search for "gluten free diet".The FDA requires that vendors list any of the top 8 food allergens on packages, so start looking.Some even have a GF seal.
