How can i be sure that i have celiac disease?

Blood tests, biopsy: Celiac disease is diagnosed by finding certain types on antibodies on a blood test. A small intestine biopsy can be used for diagnosis. There is also a blood test to see if a person has the genes that are seen in celiac disease patients (hla-dq2 or hla-dq8 genes).

See your doctor: The best tests include blood testing to screen, and then to confirm the diagnosis you need to undergo biopsy. You have to be on a regular diet for the tests to be valid (not a gluten-free diet).
