A member asked:

How can i know if a lump is a swollen lymph node?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Site of origin: Lumps represent any palpable mass anywhere in the body. An enlarged lymph node is also a lump when palpated. One however can suspect a node when present along major lymph node chains such as in the femoral tri angle along femoral vein, in the axilla along along the axillary vein and in the neck in the region of the jugular vein.
