Learning to relax: Anxiety disorders are based in fear. Thus, learning to replace fear with relaxation and acceptance provides relief. Medications are often helpful during the learning process. However, they will not cure anxiety disorders. Learning better ways of thinking and interpreting situations is the key. Often, increasing one's ability and competence promotes confidence, which is incompatible with anxiety.
