Nerve irritation: It sounds like you may be having irritation or impingement of a nerve at or near your spine. This is fairly common. People who injure a disc between spinal bones sometimes have this occur. If it becomes genuinely uncomfortable or is causing you distracting worry go see a doctor. Otherwise it's worth giving it time to resolve on its own.
