Read labels: There are literally thousands of OTC medications for cold relief. If you need decongestion, try something like Afrin nasal spray but do not use it for more than 5 days else you may end up worse off afterwards.

Yes: Many types including guaifenesin. Sometimes a saline spray and warm mist work as well
